Empowering the Hispanic Law Enforcement Community With Resources, Training, and Advocacy

Our Mission

The mission of the Westchester Hispanic Law Enforcement Association (WHLEA) is to empower the Hispanic Law Enforcement Community to thrive both in their personal lives and professional careers. Through mentorship, training programs, support, unity, and advocacy, we are dedicated to bridging the gap between law enforcement and the communities we serve. Our goal is to foster a harmonious environment for all.

HOY MANANA Y EL FUTURO

The Westchester Hispanic Law Enforcement Association (WHLEA) is a nonprofit organization established in 1996 in Westchester County, New York. Founded by Hispanic members of various law enforcement agencies, WHLEA was created to promote cultural pride, professional growth, and unity among Hispanic officers, while strengthening our connection with the communities we serve.

Since its inception, WHLEA has been dedicated to giving back through community service and youth outreach. We mentor and guide the next generation of leaders, both in the neighborhoods we protect and within our own ranks. By supporting new officers and nurturing future leaders, we aim to build a stronger, more inclusive future for law enforcement.

Our organization earns the respect and trust of the community through transparency, engagement, and integrity. Whether hosting cultural events, organizing fundraisers, or participating in charitable initiatives, WHLEA is committed to leading by example and upholding our core values of Professionalism, Service, and Integrity.
